Maison de Thau is a little fisherman’s cottage in Mèze, set on the historic port with uninterrupted views across the Étang de Thau and surrounding vineyards. A well-located holiday rental within walking distance of the beach, traditional market and harbour restaurants.

If you like cooking, it is well equipped for evening meals at the dining table looking out over the lagoon.
House Exterior Maison de Thau is situated on the ramparts on quiet cobbled street impasse in the heart of the old town. It is less than 5 minute walk from the beach, market square, harbour, cafes and restaurants	Outside the House The house sits on a tranquil impasse. A little bistro table outside the house catches the afternoon sunshine. Perfect for early evening aperitifs	The Bedroom The intimate bedroom looks out on the Olive tree. It has an ensuite 'wet room' bathroom with rainshower.
The first floor The bedroom leads onto the ensuite bathroom, salon and balcony	The little Salon On the first floor is a little salon, at one end it opens out onto the balcony. The Little Olive Tree Square Infront of the house is a little Olive tree with place for parking	The panoramic view Morning coffee through to evening meals enjoy the fantastique view from the living room. The large window looks across the sparkling lagoon, across the oyster farm down to the village of Bouzigues.

This once-upon-a-time fisherman’s house stands three storeys high on a little sun drenched square.

The top floor is an open-plan living/dining area with a comfortable sofa bed for two. The contemporary kitchen gleam in the light from a huge window overlooking the water.

Crack open the wine and nibbles, then head down a floor to the intimate bedroom – flowing white curtains, cotton sheets and wooden floor boards – and adjoining salon.

Tiny but perfectly formed, the salon has a big mirror to multiply space and light, and French windows opening out to a balcony where you can toast the view (again).

It’s all deliciously intimate, from the narrow stairs to the tiny shower room, but there’s room for six at the dining table.

The house is perfect for a couple - A wonderful place for a romantic getaway!
